Tarah
Tarah Rose is the shop owner as well as a Barber and Hair Stylist at the Rose City Style Collective. Her areas of expertise are in mature clientele, doing grey coverage, grey blending, and natural high/lowlights. With her more colorful guests Tarah excels at doing fashion/vivid colors, from color melting, to block coloring, and even just the small peekaboo colors, which inspires both parties to get thier creative juices flowing. As a blonde, she appreciates helping her clients safely achieve the blonde of thier dreams, leaving it feeling healthy. She also has added Eyelash lifting and tinting, as well as brown tinting to her list of services. Some of her favorite techniques are to ombre, foliage, and of course all over lightening. She is a master at her trade in haircutting from a tight taper fade, to a long voluminous layered cuts, bobs, shags, undercuts, and everything in between. She even has fun with clipper designs, or hair tattoos, on your shaved panels.

Hi there! My name is Ryan, some people call me Ry. I was born and raised in Portland. I've been honing my craft for over 23 years and spent most of my career at Bishops and Rudy's Barbershop. My experience includes working as a barber, stylist, manager, senior manager, and Leadership Development. My perfectionist tendencies are put to good use, as I enjoy giving personalized detailed services.
Britta
Britta is a Florida native who has been living in Portland for 5 years. She enjoys the northwest weather and landscape. With 11 years of experience, she specializes in all things blonding, color correction, precision haircuts, and trending hairstyles. Graduating from Paul Mitchell the School in Tampa, she was involved in hair shows, multiple clubs, and involved in volunteer work including at the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, yes the Carol Baskins one.
She is a lover of the outdoors and animals and has a dog named Jamie and two cats named Grimm and Beanz.
Mat
Mat was born in New Zealand and moved to Idaho when he was in high school. He made Portland his home in 2012. He graduated top of his class from Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy in 2010. Prior to joining the team at Rose City Style Collective, Mat spent 12 years in a couple NW based shops specializing in fierce fashion color and in style hair cuts. Mat started doing body grooming in 2022 after he was inspired by a client, asking to be manscaped. He discovered that it was an untapped market in Portland, and got to working to set up a body grooming business, now known as Body Beautiful

Cara has been passionately transforming locks into works of art since 2008. With 15 years of experience in the industry she has worked in a variety of Barber Shops and Hair Salons, she has honed her skills and become a master of her craft. An expert in blonding and vivid techniques, lived-in color, soft texturized cuts and precision barbering, Cara possesses a diverse range of talents that cater to a wide array of clients. Cara approaches every new project with enthusiasm and a determination to exceed expectations. Whether it's a bold transformation or a subtle refinement, she embraces each hair challenge with the same level of passion and creativity.
